Starlight Outreach and Rescue’s working cat program places feisty cats or those that prefer to company of other cats in safe, outdoor environments where they use their hunting instincts to provide rodent control in barns, warehouses, etc. This program serves as an alternative for those cats who are deemed "unsuitable for adoption" by area animal control facilities and would otherwise be euthanized. All of our working cats are FREE and are spayed/neutered and vaccinated before being released to their new outdoor homes.
